Prostaglandin D2–induced eotaxin-3 through peroxisome proliferator–activated receptor γ from sebocytes involves perifollicular eosinophil infiltration In this issue Nakahigashi et al (p 536) provide evidence that prostaglandin D (PGD) 2 has an indirect effect on eosinophil infiltration by inducing eotaxin-3, a chemoattractant for eosinophils, from sebocytes. This is the first report that PGD2 induces eotaxin-3 in sebocytes (see Figure).
