1. What is Podcasting? (Source: Wikipedia)
The word Podcast is a combination of iPod and broadcast. Like the word "radio," podcast can mean both the content and the method of delivery. Podcasting is the method of distributing multimedia files, such as audio programs, over the Internet for playback on mobile devices (iPods and MP3 players) and personal computers. Typically, a podcast features one type of "show," with new episodes delivered regularly. Podcasts are distributed over the Internet through an RSS feed. The advantage of transferring podcasts to an MP3 player is that you can then listen to them at your convenience or while on the move.
Listen online or download to your computer's desktop.
Burn the audio files (.mp3) to a CD for listening on your commute.
